Low Speed Aerodynamics, Notes 9: Viscous Flow

The effect of viscosity on flows is considered here. The Navier-Stokes equations are described, and flow situations that can be described by exact solutions of the Navier-Stokes equations, are presented. The boundary layer equations are then derived, and solution methods presented. The ways to obtain viscous drag in aerodynamics, are considered. Please download the notes in pdf here.
